The three coronal sections above are demonstrative sections through the three parts of the internal capsule. Recall that the Genu can be easily identified because it is the part of the internal capsule that is closest to the midline. We’ll learn about the structures around the internal capsule later in this lab. For now, just try to recognize its different parts.
